From the 8th century, stone Celtic crosses became important in Irish monastic sculpture. Overtime decoration became elaborate, culminating in the spectacular high crosses of the 10th century. The Celtic cross has long been the most recognised symbol of Celtic Christianity, representing in its many stone faces a long tradition of Celtic art and design. This classic Celtic cross  and nations collection includes designs inspired by the many crosses that still exist around the Celtic realms today as well as some t-shirts representing the Celtic Nations of Scotland and Wales.
